I have a story😍
‘The first most beautiful thing is to be a mother and the second most beautiful thing is to be a midwife. ‘
I’m a midwife, I’m a mother too. I’m proud of being a midwife and a mother.
I have a daughter. She is my pride too. How??

On last april, 2020, i came from maternity when corona got pandemic already. As i had some pathologies in my pregnancy, i had to take maternity leave one month earlier and got a premature baby.
When i joined back Again, my baby was 5 months.
I started fighting first to continue breastfeeding exclusively. And then against Covid.đŸ˜ĸ
I believe, if i myself can not ensure exclusive breastfeeding, i will not be capable to encourage and convince for exclusive breastfeeding to the general mothers.
It was not so easy. I had to wear PPE. It was really difficult to put it off and go for half an hour breastfeeding and again put on PPE.
I tried expressing breastmilk, it was also difficult.
I remember those daysđŸ˜Ĩ. When my baby was only 5 m and 13 days, i had to do night shift. And for maintaining quarantine, 24 hours duty was started. We were only 4 midwives! I cried all the time and hardly could do duty with smile đŸ˜Ĩ
Think for a while how it feels to do duty 24 hours duty leaving your 5 months old baby at home!đŸ˜ĸ.
I Was coming throughout a natural maternal problems. Postpartum depression. It seemed me that my colleagues were not kind enough to me, my local authority was not sacrificing me, i felt like crying all the time.
I decided to leave my workplace and i did that.
I had to overcome this depression myself too.
I fought! And I won! I continued giving services as far as i could. Started counseling mothers. I’m in my new workplace now. I have overcome all those problems i faced.
Now my baby is 16 months old. Alhamdulillah!

Who do you want to give award????
Who do you want to be awarded???
Won’t you say, My baby has been fighting too against this covid 19??
This is not a story of mine!
I know, this is a story of thousands nurses and midwives and probably a lot of working mothers too.
When i say, I’m a frontline fighter, I believe My daughter is also a fighter.
